Timeless Manners Class

Teaching that we always want to be mindful of our actions and how we treat other people.

Learning good manners couldn’t be more fun! Our etiquette for children class focuses on polite behavior and consideration towards others. This class incorporates games, role-playing, and fun activities so children stay engaged and retain the information.

The two-hour workshop is an introduction to the concept of etiquette and good manners. To promote long-term behavioral change repetition is necessary. I encourage parents to reinforce the topics we cover as part of a continuous process of life learning.

This etiquette class places an emphasis on:

  • Mastering First Impressions

  • Introductions

  • Handshaking

  • Confident Body Language

  • Polishing Posture

  • Eye Contact

  • Conversation Skills

  • Thank You Notes

  • Telephone Etiquette

  • Dining and Table Manners

Each child receives an “Etiquette for Children Handbook”

A certificate of achievement will be presented at the end of class.

2019 Program Update

The 2019 program was best summed up by a thank-you received from a parent.

My grandchildren, Sarah and Brenna, attended the Mini Charm School this past July. Being held at the St. Francis Renewal Center on Bridal Path Rd. in Bethlehem Twsp. made it even a bigger treat with the beautiful manicured property and the peacefulness that exuded. The teacher was Jacquelyn Youst, a charming, knowledgeable and patient individual. She enjoyed showing the girls how to dress properly for different occasions, set a table, write Thank-You cards, how to greet people by smiling and looking them in the eye. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the class with Jacquelyn, and they loved the peacefulness at St Francis Renewal Center. I was so glad that this type of class was offered and we were able to attend. Sarah and Brenna are 9 years of age.

Thank you so much,
